Privacy policy
This policy applies to Assistant, a personal assistant for one family. Last change: October 3, 2026.
Who uses the assistant
Only members of the family use the assistant. It is not available to the public.
What data the assistant reads
The assistant uses one Google account that belongs to the family. With permission from that account, it reads and changes these items:
- Email in that account.
- Calendars, tasks, files, documents, and spreadsheets that the family shares with that account.
- Contacts of that account.
How the assistant uses the data
The assistant uses the data only to do the tasks that the family asks for. For example, it summarizes an email, adds a task, or drafts a reply.
The assistant can send parts of the data to an AI model provider to do a task. The assistant does not use the data to train AI models.
Where the data is stored
The assistant stores data on a computer in the family home. It does not sell the data. It does not share the data with other people or for advertising.
Google user data
The use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How to remove access
The owner of the Google account can remove the access of the assistant at any time on the Google Account connections page.
